Eco-friendly: Our Packaging Philosophy. How Qsuli Furniture Safely Reaches Your Home?
In the world of design, where every detail matters, the process of creating a product does not end in the workshop. At Qsuli, we believe that eco-friendly furniture packaging is an essential part of our sustainability commitment and an extension of our quality and respect for both the customer and the planet. When you choose our steel consoles or tables, you receive a product whose packaging has been carefully designed to minimize environmental impact, reduce landfill waste, and ensure ease of recycling by using sustainable materials and minimizing plastic packaging.
Safety and Nature: Cardboard in the Lead Role.
Many manufacturers take shortcuts by choosing Styrofoam and vast amounts of plastic film. We have chosen a different path. The foundation of our shipments consists of materials of natural origin. The main protagonist is corrugated cardboard, which is used to create our sturdy boxes. We chose it for its excellent parameters – it absorbs shocks during transport and provides high mechanical strength. To further reinforce the structure, we use:
- Protective edge guards (straight and notched) and solid (pressed) cardboard tubes, which protect the sensitive edges and corners of the furniture.
- Die-cut (honeycomb) wrapping paper, which, thanks to its structure, replaces plastic bubble wrap, offering the same level of security with zero negative impact on the natural environment.
Minimizing Plastic – Is It Possible?
Questions are often asked about whether steel furniture can be safely shipped without the use of plastic. Our answer is: almost 100%. We have completely eliminated stretch wrap. The only plastic element we currently use for safety reasons and to ensure the stability of heavy structures on a pallet is polypropylene tape.
Inside the packages, you will also find white PE foam. Although it is a synthetic material, we chose it for its unique properties – it is extremely lightweight, which reduces emission costs during logistics, and most importantly – it is fully recyclable, supporting our responsibility to save natural resources and minimize harm to the environment.
Responsible Transport and E-commerce Logistics.
The delivery process at the Qsuli store is optimized for ecology and efficiency. The use of appropriately fitted eco friendly furniture packaging ensures that we do not “ship air,” reducing unnecessary volume and waste. Smaller package dimensions mean lower fuel consumption by courier vehicles, which supports responsible transport and reduces carbon footprint.
This optimized packaging design also allows for optimal storage in the warehouse, improving logistics and reducing costs. Modern consumers increasingly pay attention to what happens to the packaging after the purchase, especially in developing countries where disposal options vary. Our solutions ensure that receiving a shipment does not involve a mountain of plastic waste. Most elements can simply be disposed of in the blue paper recycling bin, giving them a second life through the recycling process and promoting reuse. This approach aligns with our company’s focus on sustainable practices and collaboration with trusted local suppliers to produce packaging that serves both beauty and functionality.
Why Is This Important to Us?
Product life cycle analysis shows that production is only part of the story. How goods are protected and delivered directly affects the state of our environment. By choosing Qsuli furniture, you support a brand that:
- Reduces water and energy consumption by opting out of unnecessary plastics.
- Relies on renewable raw materials.
- Ensures that shipments are safe for the product and clean for nature.
